My friend recently game me hints that dimensionality reduction can be used to analyze and categorize articles on the internet. This topic is really very fascinating for me . since I am working in the same area of LDR , I would love to know about it. here I will just shed some of my thoughts of how it could be possible. First things is that we can give a number to every word. But giving a number to all the words in the English dictionary is impossible. So a tangible way of assignment could be assigning number to each alphabet.But that will make the details just to minute to discern. Like if the text was “is he” and the other as “he is” that can change the whole vector. This problem looks really very challenging. I think I should get to know something about spam detection using this method. some key might lie in that work also.
