Money Matters

Orkut is a social networking site. When It came into market and Google acquired it under its roof, It had a great impact on young people particularly people in India. I am really impressed with the marketing abilities of Google and how they brought that up . I still remember the days when  I was not internet savvy and someone taught me how to use internet. I was told that the first thing to do when you logon to a computer is to go to ‘yahoo.com’ .  The tutor told me that the yahoo search facility is something that is an opening to the outside world. And after almost an hour of presentation, she finally said you may also search it in this another website called ‘Google.com’ . That was 1997. Today , 10 years after that , google is somewhere among the starts. I really am someone who is influenced by all the great stories that I listen to. The google story is one of them.
